Affordable Rental Housing near Wilshire Blvd

HCHC proposes to construct affordable rental housing on three sites in Santa Monica near Wilshire Blvd: 1217 Euclid, 1211-1217 Fourteenth Street, and 1146 Sixteenth Street. The proposed development will create 130 apartments and most will be two and three bedroom apartments to accommodate large families. 1217 Euclid Street is anticipated to provide a mix of one and two bedroom units totaling 65 apartments and approximately 43 parking spaces. The residential area will total to approximately 54,831 SF and the building will have an approximate height of 62 FT. 1211-1217 Fourteenth Street will provide 45 apartments with a mix of studio, two, and three bedrooms in addition to approximately 43 parking spaces. The residential area will total to approximately 54,412 SF and the building will have an approximate height of 62 FT. 1146 Sixteenth Street will include a mix of studio, two-, and three-bedroom units totaling 20 apartments and approximately 10 parking spaces. The residential area will total to approximately 20,900 SF and the building will have an approximate height of 44 FT. One apartment per site (e.g. a total of 3 apartments) will be reserved for on-site property management staff. The remaining 127 apartments will be income-restricted to households earning between 30% and 70% of area median income (AMI). Each site will include community spaces for residents, laundry and bicycle parking.

1211-1217 Fourteenth Street will provide 45 apartments with a mix of studio, two, and three bedrooms in addition to approximately 43 parking spaces. The residential area will total to approximately 54,412 SF and the building will have an approximate height of 62 FT.
